La Torre de los Picos

La Torre de los Picos la construyeron entre el siglo XIII (siglo 13) y el siglo XIV (siglo 14). La torre se llama así por las almenas que tiene arriba. La torre es defensiva y también une una de las entradas de la Alhambra con el Generalife. La puerta de la Torre de los Picos se llama Puerta de Arrabal. La torre tiene tres plantas. En esta torre Washington Irving se inventó una historia que habla de un judío llamado Almamen que se escondía en la torre para buscar medios de venganza contra el seductor de su hija. La torre tiene una arquitectura gótica, sin que se conozca a que es debido.
